1. Installing, Upgrading, or Removing
1.1. Installing over previous versions of iTools
Question:
I have an older version of iTools, what's the best way to upgrade?
Answer:
If you have iTools 7, you can simply install iTools 8 over your existing installation. All of your content and settings will be preserved. Of course, it is always a good idea to back up your web server before a major upgrade.

1.2. Installing over a web site using Apple's Apache
Question:
I am already hosting several web sites using Apple's built-in Apache. Can I convert this to an iTools 8 installation?
Answer:
We have a special script that will import the settings from your existing Apache set up to an iTools set up. {add details}

1.3. Installing over a very old version of iTools
Question:
What about iTools 6? How do I convert this to iTools 8?
Answer:
The older versions of iTools for Mac OS X used the same locations as Apple for Apache-related configuration. Starting with iTools 7, Tenon created a Tenon-specific structure for our iTools Apache configuration. This change eliminated the need to reinstall iTools every time Apple make an update to Mac OS X.

1.4. Removing iTools and restoring my original Apache
Question:
I want to try iTools 8, but I may want to revert back to my existing Apache set up. Is this possible?
Answer:
Yes. When we install iTools we back up key Apple-related Apache configuration files. When you uninstall iTools using the Tenon Uninstaller or the Tenon script, the files we moved are restored.
