Postmaster web log on problems

Help!  this has seemed to be getting worse.

I'm running 714 and I haven't had this problem before this version.  I'm not
able to log on to the web interface as postmaster.  It logs me on as a
general user, not with the postmaster privileges.

Initially, I only had this problem when I was out of the office.  But while
I was in the office (on the same subnet as the server) I had no problems.

Now, I can't even log on with the correct privileges on the same machine!
I'm not getting any error messages of any kind.  I just don't have the
postmaster options when I log on.

Any thoughts?

Ps.  I'm not local for 2 weeks (in a different office).  So I can't run the
installer app.  Any command line options are appreciated.
