Blackhole's can be tricky. It really depends on the blackhole server that you are using - for outgoing, this would mean that your user is being identified as a spammer.

Some also felt that this could be pop before smtp going astray.
Restart and verify if the problem goes away. Other than that you will need to look at the blackhole thing. To do this, I would suggest the following:

1. figure out the ip address that this user was trying to send this from. Go to http://relays.osirusoft.com/cgi-bin/rbcheck.cgi and check that IP address in all of the DNSBL that they list (lots of them). For example, if your user was trying to SMTP in from a remote location on a dial up from some ISP some DNSBL will block that ( a good thing). This could be one case.

2. modify your BL filter so that you have it as both discard and copyto. Create a special account to trap these emails so that you categorically can say that this was the filter that did the nasty deed.

John

Some of my users are complaining that some outgoing mail are getting bounced back to them with the "550 We do not relay to domain.com" error message. These are perfectly healthy domains like msn.com. The only thing I have done is activated a few RBL blacklist to block incoming spam. Could that block outgoing mail too? Or is this a bug fixed by 714.

Also, can anyone confirm that the "can't send to multiple recipients" bug has been fixed in 714?

TIA
