Post.Office
problems with many users and mail relay
Hi Tenon
There is a serious problem with some eMail clients and Post.Office.
Many of my clients have Entourage (MacOS X) and are sending out "group"
messages. But when they use an account on my Post Office Server they cant
sent those "group" messages out anymore!
I have tried it myself and figured out that if I turn ON mail relaying on my
server, that is to allow everyone to relay, then those "group" messages get
sent out.
This is also the case, when I create a new message and add some cc and bcc
addresses. The message will not get sent and Post Office reports a "Mail
relaying not allowed" message.
What to do?
Like I said, with other Mail services (ISP, etc) this works and they are
also using Pop-before-smtp.
Sincerely,
Nitai Aventaggiato
