Post.Office
If you want a plain simple mail server (no listserv) then you should
check out EIMS <http://www.eudora.co.nz/>. Glenn Anderson has a OS X
beta posted there and I have used EIMS for years on a OS 9 box and
was very satisfied with ease of configuration and performance. I am
sure his OS X version will be solid as well. If I did not require
listserv capabilities I would probably still be using EIMS.....

Rick,
How much RAM is your iMac?
768 Mb
And anyone that thinks that an Exchange Server will be a better
choice either has more money than they know what to do with or
they're advocating for hiring more people....
This is not something I don't know. It's hard to overcome the
lemming mentality that says, "Nobody ever got fired for buying
Microsoft." Same reason my folks are willing to put up with
corrupted PowerPoint files. "But how will we share documents with
our clients?" Stupid! You save the documents as PDF files to
preserve their integrity. Feel my pain.
Too many people think that if it's complicated, it must be better.
That's why I'm feeling so frustrated with Post.Office right now. I
thought it would be an elegant Mac-like solution. It's not.
