Your hostname should be set to match the reverse-lookup of your domain, at
least, that would be my expectation.

You can set it through the terminal with the following command:

Hostname -s yourdomainname.com

But this change is only until your next restart.

You can also change it at a permanent level by editing the following file:

/etc/hostconfig

There's an entry there called Hostname that you can alter and change.
