what should I have for hostname information, and how do I change it?

when I set up an account, It sends the following link to the admin:
http://lists.blueworld.com.local.postoffice.blueworld.com:9090

all I want is http://lists.blueworld.com:9090

So your hostname is lists.

Fixing the hostname in Post.Office normally requires two steps. The first step is to fix your machine so that the proper hostname comes up if you issue the hostname command in a terminal window. Once this has been done, then you can run the second step, which is to re-run the Post.Office Application (the mailbox icon in the Finder/Applications window).
