Yes, this is very helpful.

My only other question is about uninstalling post.office in case something is not working. I understand how to run the script that uninstalls post.office, but does this procedure interfere with sendmail? As a reminder, I am running sendmail and qpopper with netinfo user
s as accounts. If I install post.office on top of this scenario and then uninstall post.office, will there be any problems?

You may have to change your /etc/hostconfig file to start the sendmail service-you would make sure that your file says MAILSERVER=-YES- to automatically start sendmail.

Here is the URL for uninstallation instructions (from our Post.Office FAQ)

First of all, is this list archived somewhere that I can search it?

Platform: OSX Server 10.1.3

I'd like to export all the users and settings from one Post.Office machine
and import them into another. Is this possible? How?

The general procedure is to install Post.Office fresh on the new machine, (stop the Post.Office service on both machines), "tar up" the /var/spool/post.office and /var/spool/mailbox directories from the old machine, move and "un tar" them on the new machine and then restart Post.Office on the new machine. You'll need to make sure your MX records point to the new machine. Here is the link to our document that tells you the procedure:

I hope this is helpful
