With PO this works differently. I would also like the "standard" approach
much better, but I have asked this before and got a no.

We include in each message a footer like
<list1-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?body=unsubscribe>

Especially that the customer has to enter the commands in the body of the
email is for some of my customers not a common thing. Especially with non
techie people.

btw: If you sent out a HTML email to the mailing list, the footer will not
be inserted!!!!!!!

I have reported this to Tenon already.
