Re: hooks for external apps

I will have to look at the filtering PO can do again but when I looked it
it was not capable of placing emails in particular folder for an account
based on the results of the filters. Also Procmail does more than just
filter. It is a full scripting language that you can tie to your email
system (for example, mail comes in, you read the email addresses, based on
those addresses, you can then generate a custome reply and send)

Take a look at http://www.procmail.org/ to see what can be done.
