Re: Moving Post.Office to Another Server

Hi Sam-

Thanks for the information - it was enough to get everything going, but
unfortunately when I log into the web forms for Post.Office, I don't see any
of my user accounts or lists. They show up in the mailbox folder, but
there's nothing through the standard interface.

I suspect I should completely redo it again (the transfer).

Also, I did notice the instructions on the web are slightly different than
what is in the manual (and what was posted here):

Specifically this:

In order to back up your Post.Office configuration, execute the following
commands (update the date in the filename to the current date).

cd / sudo tar czvf Post.Office-backup-11.6.2002.tar.gz
/var/spool/post.office

The tar command is used in this case to back up (and compress) your existing
Post.Office configuration.
------------------

First off, this command didn't work for me (too many arguments?), and it
also doesn't look like it's backing up all the other folders.

So, which set of directions are better?
