Post.Office
Got the hostname changed fine, but PO went ballistic over something. It
began chewing up processor time.
I'm following the directions for uninstalling that are in the FAQ. In the
second step it said to:
sudo rm -R /var/spool/post.office
I did, and Terminal was chewing on it. So I checked on that directory.
> drwxr-x--- 4 mta mail 136 Jun 10 19:24 .
> drwxr-xr-x 10 root wheel 340 Jun 10 13:29 ..
> drwxr-x--- 30113 mta mail 1023842 Jun 10 19:25 messages
> drwxr-xr-x 3 mta mail 102 Jun 10 19:07 pop-before-smtp
Is that 30,000 messages I see in that file? :-)
I guess it may take Terminal a bit to delete those. It's still chewing.
Guess I'll grab a bite to eat.
