[TIP] how to search old PO logs
Sometimes I need to look at old logs to track down problematic messages.
Here's a tip for making that easy: use curly bracket shell expansion to
access al the filenames for the old PO logs!
(all on one line...)
sudo more /var/spool/post.office/log/post.office-060{4,5,6,7}.log | grep
yoursearchword
the {4,5,6,7} automatically expands in the shell to:
post.office-0604.log
post.office-0605.log
post.office-0606.log
post.office-0607.log
making it easier to look in all your old logs.
