Listserve Reply-To problems- Need an answer from Tenon on this
But I am not certain if this accounts for all of the inconsistent
behavior. I'm wondering if there's any ISP-level anti-spam software that
might be interfering with my users' email, and munging the headers
indiscriminately, for whatever bizarre reason. Is there any anti-spam
software that does things like remove Reply-To headers on incoming mail?
Or it could be a P.O bug, as you say. It's a puzzle, to be sure.
Our ISP does none if this. I am doing no scanning or filtering at
all with Post.Office. But we do use RAV antivirus on a separate
gateway machine. But I don't think that's likely the problem since
the same post to the Post.Office lists doesn't come out with the same
return address. I myself don't think this is a client issue.
But since the return address I see (when the user's return fails to
be applied) is the same one each time (the list request address), and
since it is one that only the listserve could apply, someone at Tenon
with knowledge of how the PO listserve works should be able to
enlighten us about what *could* be happening.
I am using build #717. This is a big problem right now and I really
need to know whether this is a bug that can be addressed or not
and/or if there are any workarounds.
