It has been a major fiasco: I keep getting error messages mailed to root
that these messages are missing.  There is *no* setting to mail root about
anything.  I have yet to find an IMAP client on OS X that won't just
collapse under the weight of this IMAP mail folder of thousands of
messages.  Meanwhile, my hard drive just grinds away when I start up the
mailserver.

I'm thinking dark things about P.O, and it's ability to just cripple
itself with error message notification.
