Re: Dynamic Host - SMTP Message Filter Setup
How did you collect the stats on the filters?
I just totaled up my OSX_mail_client's junk folders and deleted
folders, since each was directed to it own mailbox; ie:
spamcop@xxxxxxxxxxxx, spamass@xxxxxxxxxxxx, etc.
OSX_mail_client generally catches 99.98% and puts in the Junk
section; thus I can review and/or search the full text if I want. I
have it set to keep the junk for a week -- the Junk section maintains
aprox. 30,000 SPAMs for a moving week.
I'm not sure if SA will "auto learn" out-of-the-box, but its doing a
great job for me sitting behind the RBL's -- I disabled all of my
blocking (John's list) to let it "work" and all has been excellent
with zero false positives.

Hi Elton, guess I've been out to lunch. So SA was installed with
P.O. rev. 721 automatically? ... Okay, cool! : c)
I only "copy to" when I first set up a filter, if it seems to be
working fine for a day or two then I just Discard.
How did you collect the stats on the filters?
I really appreciate your help.
Okay, this is what I set up, check me out on this new filter:

Wow, where have you been! -- SA is the biggest thing since PO's
inception. Ensure you are on the newest release (r721) and simply
construct a body_filter as shown below:

Here is my SA filter, where I'm excluding my RBL's and local domains.

I had so much junk mail coming in before, I'm getting lonely!
This is why you send "copyto" your junk to: rbl@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx,
spamass@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx, etc., it let you check-out your spam when
your are lonely!
