Anyone else having problems with fix_bind?

The box hosting Post.Office has gone all wonky on me and I can't seem 
to put my finger on the problem.   Basically, the box gets slower and 
slower until I have to do a restart.  Then it takes forever to come 
back up and I need to repair LOTs of permissions via the disk 
utility.  Looking at the sys log, I see something like this over and 
over again:
