RE: Disappearing Disk Space

Try `du -s "path_to_file"`

And look at each main directory on your system:

For example:

sudo du -s /var/

Will show you the size of the /var directory and so on.  I wish du supported 
--max-depth=1 as it does on Linux as it will give a
nice clean summary of the working directory usage.

I am guessing your culprit will be in the /var/spool or /var/log direcories.
