Verification of successful delivery

Greetings,

 

My client has been using your software for a few years; but unfortunately they have not been using it properly.  Due to the lack of training on your product, they have deemed it not beneficial for their use.  In my battles, to have them keep the Post.Office they have asked of me to provide them with a verification feature.  I don't want to use "delivery receipt" features within the email client because I will get back an assload of email messages.

 

For example;  I send out 1 message to a list of 15000+ names, I want to look at a tallied up log file that will state something to the affect of, "...Message 001123 was successfully delivered to 14509 of 15000+ recipients, please view error log below...".

 

If anyone out there has any ideas as to how to accomplish this, please share the knowledge.
