We had similar problems with our mail server. I don't look after the
configuration/technical side of our mail server, so I'm no expert on this. I
think, though, that the problem in our case had to do with the way errors
were reported; no mail was actually getting relayed, but the relay tests
thought it was.

The message below was sent by our server administrator. Unfortunately, I
don't know how we resolved the problem in the end - I think Anita from Tenon
made some configuration changes.

Not sure if this is similar to your situation, but maybe it can help?

ahh - the error-handler is catching these dud emails and notifying the
postmaster - however to the testing system they are accepted for delivery.
This means that my server is still blacklisted - how can I configure
Post.Office to reject these recipients instead of giving a code 250 - relay
Accepted??

Hello Everyone,


I decided to test our mail server by telneting to relay-test.mail-abuse.org
and letting it do some testing. Sadly it found my server to be open on test
#11:

<<< 250 Recipient <"nobody%mail-abuse.org"> Ok


I'm running Post.Office v3.5.3 release 717 - any help greatly appreciated.
