Don't forget the wiki which has a ton of compiled posts from this list over
the last 9 months discussing spam stopping techniques in PO. You would do
well to visit there and have a look at the tutorial to start. lots of newbie
points are addressed... like things you think should work one way but don't.
For instance, File Name: option in the SMTP filter body section pop-up is
not for telling PO what kind of File to filter. It is for getting your
filter params from a file. I don't use this technique so I can't tell you
how it works.
Anyhow, you may just save yourself some headaches here...
