Re: SMTP filter exclusions not working when return-path is empty
No; but if its not working ensure that you are excluding the domains
correctly -- might consider using *domain1*. Also, try separating
each RBL (and the SA_Filter) into its own filter w/separate eMail
address -- this will make it easier to see which is not working as
expected and track which is best.

Mine look like this:
Filter : RBL Filter
Discard: X Copy: X
Mail Addr: spamhaus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Dyn.Host sbl.spamhaus.org OR
Dyn.Host bl.spamcop.net OR
Dyn.Host dnsbl.njabl.org AND
Src.Addr *domain1.com NOT AND
Src.Addr *domain2.com NOT AND
Src.Addr *domain3.com NOT
and my SA looks like this
Filter: SpamAssassin_Filter
Discard: X Copy: X
Mail Addr: spam_assassin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Dyn.Host sbl.spamhaus.org NOT AND
Dyn.Host bl.spamcop.net NOT AND
Dny.Host dnsbl.njabl.org NOT AND
Src.Addr *domain1.com NOT AND
Src.Addr *domain2.com NOT AND
Src.Addr *domain3.com NOT
Notice anything awry?
Thanks,

If you setup your RBL filter for spamhaus as outlined the others
day, the RBL Filter should exclude them; ie:
Filter : Spamhaus_Filter
Discard: X Copy: X
Mail Addr: spamhaus@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Dyn.Host sbl.spamhaus.org AND
Src.Addr *domain1.com NOT AND
Src.Addr *domain2.com NOT AND
Src.Addr *domain3.com NOT
Your SA filter should be:
Filter: SpamAssassin_Filter
Discard: X Copy: X
Mail Addr: spam_assassin@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Dyn.Host sbl.spamhaus.org NOT AND
Src.Addr *domain1.com NOT AND
Src.Addr *domain2.com NOT AND
Src.Addr *domain3.com NOT

Some users need to forward mail from a Groupwise system to their
accounts on my system. Using the Groupwise rules to forward leaves
the return-path field empty. I believe that this is why one of my
filters (I'm using SA behind three RBLs, spamhaus.org,
spamcop.net, and njabl) is matching these messages.
I've added the domains for the two different groupwise systems as
exclusions in all of the filters (although I believe that SA is
the one flagging these messages) but this has proven ineffective.
The mail being forwarded by a Groupwise rule is still being
matched.
Any suggestions?
