Re: getting awstats to read post.office log files
Are those mails actually being processed? There could be entries
that coming from the spam and got blocked. Those entries will not be
recorded as an actual mail transfer. For your other question, you
will have to manually append the hostname into the HostAliases
section of the awstats config file, if you have added additional
hostnames.

Eric

Hi Eric,
Well I made the change but no significant change. For example, the
log shows only 4 mails begin handled today. If I check the log, I
see literally dozens and dozens of messages coming in. By
appearances, the only mail being noticed in the logs is that sent by
my squirrelmail users. Any thoughts?
thanks,
ken

You might want to change/insert:
HostAliases=example.com www.example.com
in /Library/Tenon/WebLog/cgi-bin/awstats.mail.conf
This will pick up a few additional stats that are hosted on the same server.
