Hi Erich,

We bought post.office last year in April after we were promised by 
Tenon was they were working with McAfee to get a working anti-virus 
solution for post.office.

After several months had passed with no news, I wrote my own little 
script to run the Virex command line scanner. The script is activated 
by Cron (running once a minute).

Check the mailing list archive http://postoffice.computeroil.com and 
look for subject: "Virex script"

There are a few messages by me about virus scanning. There's the 
virex script and also an attachment blocker which can change the 
subject line of a message containing a suspicious attachment.

As soon as I find a few hours of spare time, I'll update the virex 
script with my latest version which also uses munpack to extract the 
attachments first to a temporary directory before scanning them.

Hopefully Tenon will come up with an Anti-Virus plugin as soon as 
possible. There are a few open source scanners available which could 
do the trick but I haven't been able to write any scripts for them 
yet.
