FYI on OS X Server, from what I understand, IP address changes for OS X Server needs to be done via a CLI using changeip command and not through the System Prefs/Network GUI interface. If you did use the GUI, try changing the IP back to what it use to be and then run the changeip command in terminal. Hope this helps

Ok... I think I have narrowed the search...

Does PO have any config files that would hard code a hostname in the system? I changed my IP and now my old hostname only resolves to the old IP via ping etc. DIG reports the new IP and my DNS has been updated accordingly. Also I checked my /etc/hosts file.

Strange issue not sure what is going on.

Primary MX via PO on a DSL connection. I had a secondary MX on another OS X system running OS X Server w/ Postfix & SA. All was well PO would bounce spam and the secondary server would also bounce the mail and not simply forward all mail as a PO based secondary mail server would do. The resulted in very little spam.

Last weekend I switched my PO system to a cable based ISP. New IP's etc. I made my DNS changes, relay control on the secondary server etc, bit of a black out over the weekend but all is good now.

One nagging issue... my spam level has now exploded. It all seems to be passing directly through the PO system and not an relay issue from the secondary. Before the switch I would get maybe one of two spams a day - if that. Now I'm getting 50+ each day - back to the level of my pre-SA days.

Any thoughts? I'm stumped. SA does not have any IP specific configuration that I know of.
