Re: URGENT: same message delivered hundreds of times
Look at the running processes on your server - if you see a lot of
SMTP-Accept processes running, your server is overloaded (this happens if
your server is under powered and you're running malformed spam filters).
So your server ends up receiving the message, but the sending server times
out (because your server is so busy) and thinks you didn't receive the
message, so it sends it again.
Restarting should help, but it seems like it's still having processes
running that's preventing it from starting up again.
I would contact Tenon directly and see if they can help you sort out the
problems.
