Dear Nitai,

I believe it is possible to use 2 machines to run filemaker and double
the speed. One sits on the web server with Web Ten and the other machine
has Filemaker Server running which is multi-threaded and of course very
fast. The result is a solution thats as fast as Web Catalog but isn't
limited by the amount of RAM a machine can hold.

What happens when I have over 2 GBs of text data that Web Catalog will
not be able to hold in RAM? The cost to get those larger RAMchips would
more than pay for that 2nd computer running Filemaker Server.

Please set me straight because I have not set up a solution yet but am
simply compiling the feedback I have gotten.

Thanks,

Jim
