That situation may not be so rare in our case. Some of our FMP driven resources are already getting a lot of traffic, and I can see the day soon coming when we'll need to go with something more powerful. Lasso will do SQL functions also, but I've never used that part of its functionality.


One thought I had was getting a Linux box running mySQL and keeping our WebTen/Lasso server. I haven't gotten a definitive answer on how well this works, but it sounds intriguing.

Do you know how well this works, and what might be involved?
