I am using the Squid log roller script (along with Cron) from the Tenon
website and I have found that I need to close and the reopen the log
window in order for it to function properly after the log is rolled
weekly.

Check out the Tenon site for the log rollers. I actually designate one
log for all hosts and I am working on configuring Analog to break it up.
