This is true. You must close and re-open the log window in order for
logging to resume. The workaround is to manually enter "WebTen.log" in
the "TransferLog" field in the "Server Defaults" setting in the admin
server. This will make it so that logging continues whether the log
window is opened or closed.

We've got a log rolling script and a newer log splitting script that
splits the logs into files for each virtual host (and rolls the logs too).
