WebTen
Hi all,
I've encountered a problem with the SOA-entries.
My WebTen-Box is hosting two domains:
startmovie.net and
bytesinmotion.de
For both, WebTen (2.1.10) is the primary Nameserver,
which is called
ns.startmovie.net
I created the host in the DNS for startmovie.net and
registered the Nameserver with Networksolutions.com
In the SOA-entry for startmovie.net I entered
"ns" for the Nameserver and "hostmaster" for the Mail-Account.
So far, so good.
For bytesinmotion.de I entered in the SOA-Dialog
"ns.startmovie.net." and "hostmaster.startmovie.net.",
because ns.startmovie.net is the primary Nameserver
for bytesinmotion.de.
Now, what's happening is, that the SOA-Entry is resolved
from ns.startmovie.net as
bytesinmotion.de 86400 IN SOA
ns.startmovie.net.bytesinmotion.de
hostmaster.startmovie.net (
I think, this is wrong, because the host
"ns.startmovie.net.bytesinmotion.de"
does not exist. What am I missing?
Thanks for any help!
Kind regards,
Thomas
