My problem exactly. The other processes are running just fine. The startup
progress dialog stayed stuck on "Checking Software License". When I broke the
TB2 connection and logged back in, the startup dialog displayed the word
"test". That was last night. This morning it says "ftpd".

The machine is on a PowerKey Pro but it has *not* crashed. The watchdog timer,
like the other processes on this machine, continue to update. Quite a
frustrating situation. I wish it would just crash the danged machine instead of
putting WT into suspended animation.

I was hoping someone knew how to send a Command-Control-Escape via TB2. Guess
not.
