WebTen
One thing I would like to ask about is WebTen's caching. I have found that if I
modify a file and upload it via FTP, Internet Explorer and Netscape both fail to
display the latest version of the file. IE is the worse offender... you CANNOT
get it to display the new verison no matter what you do. Empty Cache, Refresh,
etc. Nothing helps.
Netscape doesn't display the new version if you bring up a window with the
appropriate URL... but if you refresh it usually gets the new version for you.
I can't figure out what the problem is... but after turning off WebTen's cache
the problem has gone away.
Is there some sort of configuration for the cache or is this just because IE
sucks (this is certainly not news to me)?
Also is IE ever going to fix the damn forms bug that prevents us from remotely
adminning WebTen? It's ironic because Netscape can't remember your logon name
and PW so remote adminning with it is a pain :) I'd rather it have the form bug
than IE :D lol
Peace,
