Hmmm....In 2.1.10 it just showed an error message below the name of the
virtual host if this happenned. We had this happen on a few occasions when
we turned DNS off for a customer who had moved their domain somewhere else
before we had a chance to remove the information from WebTen. We never had
an admin problem...it didn't even load slower than normal.

Our current problem is not an admin problem, it is an authentication
problem. If we launch the admin from the shell window with the -anybody
option, we can get into the admin and it runs pretty fast. If we run the
admin stuff from the shell window so we can watch it (in debug mode), we can
see each connection attempt along with the password and we can see that the
error is that the password is not valid.

We have tried the default password for the admin server as well as the one
we used to use. We have tried changing the password from the menus to no
avail. We continue to get the password invalid error.
