I did the install from the downloadable version. I don't have the CD. I
bought the downloadable upgrade from 2.

I agree that what I am seeing seems to be related to the cache settings. Can
you send me your squid.conf file? I can try it and see what hapoens here. As
I have made small changes to this file things have begun to work better.
