MIME types & action handlers

We've recently switched our intranet from AppleShare IP to WebTen 3.0.3. We
had links set up for our Wintel users that allow them to edit an Excel
spreadsheet in the active browser window. Ever since the change to WT, they
get gibberish in response to the link. I've deducted that I need to
customize the MIME extensions and action handlers, but how? I'm just a lowly
graphic artist that was dragged into web admin and basically a novice at
this stuff. Any help is appreciated.
