You might want to check out the Macintouch web site. Just a month ago they had a discussion on UPS monitoring software for the mac. The URL for the discussion is:

After reading some of the postings, it sound like APC's PowerChute mac software is buggy. Some said that TrippLite and Belkin have more up to date mac software for their products.

AWESOME! I can't wait to try it.

Another question about shutdowns, restarts, etc. It is possible to use APC PowerChute software with a server (iMac or otherwise) to control the server in the event of a power outage? Has anyone used this?

We frequently have power outages here...it is pretty annoying.
