One of the best products I know of for doing this is WebCatalog from
SmithMicro, it allows you to issue sql commands to a remote db server.
Possibly a little pricey for your needs, I'm not sure, but it does work
well.
They have a product called typhoon that I believe also has the ability to do
the same sort of thing at a lower price if you don't need any of the
e-commerce stuff.
