Justin, there is no MySQL for Mac OS.  MySQL requires certain underlying threading support that is not present in WebTen's UNIX engine, so we did not port MySQL to WebTen.  We added MySQL support to PHP4 because WebTen customers told us that they wanted to use WebTen/PHP to interface with MySQL on other machines.

MySQL is supported on OS X Server and (very soon) we will have an MySQL package for OS X public beta.
