HELP: Preprocessor plugins (Welcome-Plugin)

I'm attempting to use the Welcome plugin to redirect hits coming to one of
our virtual hosts to the clients new site but I can't seem to be able to
configure it as a preprocessor. I've attempted to add it to the Preprocessor
field on the Server Defaults page but no luck (it clears out the field when
it saves).

Any ideas, suggestions or work arounds?
