WebTen
Hi,
I have a Perl script that simply yields no output under WebTen but has worked
perfectly under every other Apache based web box I have run it on.
The CGI basically searches a tab delimited text file for one or more query
strings and then provides an HTML tabulated page of results. It needs to find
the db file and also the HTML file in order to yield any output... however I
have "unless" statements in the Perl that should print out error messages if
those files can't be found. But I get nothing - not even the output from those
unless statements.
What's going on? Can somebody from Tenon take a look at my script or give me a
list of top ten Perl blunders under WebTen?
Your .pl scripts should work as you expect under WebTen. The most
common problem is permissions. Is the script in an executable
directory? Maybe /cgi-bin/myscripts/ or something to that affect?
What are you using as your path variable in your script?
Charlie
