Dave,

If Tenon is going to give us useless error messages like the one below at
least they could respond to our requests.

Questions directly to Tenon support should be addressed to : support@xxxxxxxxx

How I'm suppose to use the WebTen
Configuration Manager when the web server won't start?

The WebTen admin runs independently from the WebServer. Use the WebTen application to turn on the WebTen admin. then go to the website at port 84 like this:

http://website.com:84

and you should be prompted for a password.

Out of the blue our WebTen 2.1.10 server stopped accepting connections. When I restarted it the Access Log returned the following error: Display Cache Log: Cache NOT configured - no log available Use WebTen Configuration Manager to enable Cache

On closer examination I discovered the hard drive only had 4.9 MB
available
due to a buggy scripted job. Thinking this was the problem I emptied the
trash which freed up 1.2 GB. I restarted WebTen and got the same
message. I
tried trashing the prefs, replacing the http.config, webten.config, and
the
squid.config with backed up copies, rebuilding the desktop and finally
installing WebTen 3.0 and I still get the same problem.

check the WebTen.syserrs log in the WebTen:tenon:logs folder it should give exact reasons why the server is not starting (probably SSL). Fix the errors it mentions in the admin server and you should be back up.

Of course I can't use any of the Admin features because neither the
admin no
the regular web server respond.

This is not true. The admin server should still run properly.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, Dave Denton
