Subject: webten 3 and mysterious crashes

I have been using WebTen 3 on my home development server (G3, Mac OS
8.1, 128MB RAM) for several months but recently I have experienced
random crashing of Webten with a type 2 error. This occurs when there
is no activity to the server (I am the only one hitting it behind a
firewall and have looked at the log). At times it forces me to reboot
other times I can just re-launch the application. I have made few if
any modifications to the server as its only job is to run the Web
server (with Lasso 3.6.6) and nothing else. The problem is getting so
annoying I am thinking of switching back to WebSTAR.

Has anyone experienced the same and can make any suggestions? I have
tried the following:

o Tried using the server with virtual memory on and with it off.

o Have turned off all possible extensions. I especially disabled any
that are supposed to perform a function in the background while the
server is idle. See my ASP report below.

o Made sure Energy Saver is not trying to sleep the machine or shut down.

o Checked that my devices are installed properly.

o Updated to WebTen 3.0.4 using the updater (it was doing this before).

o Downloaded the full version of WebTen 3.0.4, deleted all traces of
the previously installed components of WebTen and Tenon preference
files, and then reinstalled from scratch.

o Ran Tech Tool Pro 2.5.5, Norton Utilities 5.0.3, and Disk Warrior 2.0.

o Tested disk drive with Hard Drive Toolkit 4.0 (full version)

o Defragged drive

o Zapped P-RAM

o Rebuilt desktop using TechTool (many times).

Still getting type 2 errors with the server just crapping out while idling.

WebTen 3 will also crash when I try to quit the application but I
believe that is a different problem altogether.
