Re: SSL certificates and VHost

I am a desperate man. I have mailed a two requests to webten@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx about the stuff below and have not as yet received a reply. Perhaps there is something wrong?

I need to enable SSL on my server. I have two domains but will be happy if I can get SSL functioning on just the primary domain. WWW.MONTI.CO.UK. the second domain is not yet in use. I run OS 9.0.4 on OT (G4)

In Short if I follow the directions on issuing a temp SSL CSR this 'seems' to be OK, if I then enable SSL via admin the server crashes completely.

I have looked very carefully at the server, all appears to be working just fine (rather well in fact) BUT if I view the VIRTUAL HOSTS via admin the WWW.MONTI.CO.UK domain has DELETE VIRTUAL HOST enabled. This does not look right.

I have also downloaded FRESH copys of WebTen (3.0.4) and installed it on two other MACS. I have tried setting these up for SSL and these too CRASH when I enable the tempory CSR. I have observed that the original connection (the session that was used to view the admin pages) does become a secure connection but the CACHE stops after this connection is stopped and then the whole server fails.

Help.

I need to have this enabled on my server. What should I look at first, what could cause SSL to crash the server?
