UNIX & UBB Install Question

To: <webten@xxxxxxxxx>
Subject: UNIX & UBB Install Question
From: MMMMMMark@xxxxxxx
Date: Sun, 17 Dec 2000 02:01:25 EST
I am attempting to set up UBB on my server and am attempting to change
the permissions on the UBBScript.

I open the shell window and cannot change directories to the scripts
directory (using the guide at www.tenon.com/resources/UBB.shtml)

I have no knowledge of UNIX, but this is what I have so far:
when I type pwd
it says that I am in:
/home/root
I know to change directories that I need to type:
cd ./[directory]
but I cannot navigate to ANY directory as I keep getting the following:
cd: can't cd to ./cgi-bin/scripts/ [or whatever directory I attempt]

BTW - the "cgi-bin" directory is located in the directory named "WebTen
v3.0", which also holds the "WebSites" directory.

Any help would be appreciated.
