Hi there,
While I appreciate you may be frustrated with aspects of the
software you have been using, I have to say that as a user of Tenon's
WebTen & NetTen applications, that they have worked as advertised. Bearing
in mind that the issues you are experiencing may be related to Mac OS, or
hardware issues with your particular machines.
I'm not saying that Tenon's software is perfect, but I would have
to say that from my point of view, that the products I have been using have
been miles better than other alternatives I have used & from the off-list
emails I have had from other Tenon users, not all, but the majority of
Tenon users would say the same.
As far as support goes, Tenon's support have, with one exception
still outstanding, been able to solve all issues I have raised.
If you have been having problems, I have certainly never seen any
posts from you (at least under the address you have used) asking anyone
about them & I think it is in poor taste to post such a message to the
lists when you have not used the lists previously for their normal purpose
of users & Tenon support providing support to other Tenon users & I for
one, find it problematic to download emails which are completely useless to
me, nor asking for assistance, especially when I have to pay for the
privelige of downloading that message.
I read in one of your other posts that you had used Mac OS 7.5 -
9.0.4 on your 6100. I think in respect of that machine, you should have
stuck with 8.1 as the RAM requirements of the OS alone above that spec
meant that even if you had the maximum RAM available for the machine, the
remaining RAM stack would have left little for anything other than light
processor applications. Perhaps this has been the root cause of your
problem the whole time (or perhaps not), but you have left no messages to
my recollection in the period I have been following the Tenon products
(some years).
Lastly, I suggest that you in future refrain from future mass
mailing of this sort as satisfied users reading this list want to read
about any problem & potential resolutions of those problems. Perhaps if you
had posted details of your difficulties to the list, a number of us may
have been able to help out.
Bye for now, Terry Allen
