Re: Final Demand For Refund Before Commercial Lien onTenonIntersystems

But who'd want to?
At $399 per DIMM, we are verging on the cost of a low-end iMac.
Small Dog is selling new, indigo, 350Mz, iMacs at $799.
(If you have friends who work at Apple, ask about the employee
promotion, where they encourage the employees to get their friends
and family to buy for even less).
Perhaps it
is time to consider putting your 6100 out to pasture. I have 8 6100's
running happily doing things that they are designed for. A reality check is
in order before you invest $800 in a computer that is only worth $100 in the
used market.
Not even, I just got three on eBay - $92 for all three, plus
shipping. That comes to $30 and change for each (under $45 apiece
with shipping added). Shipping was 30% of total cost, but it still
seemed like a rather good deal to me (I remember what we paid for our
first power mac brand new - it was a 6100/66 - but it cost a whole
lot more than that).
And yes, they are fine for backup mail servers, DNS, low traffic list
servers, etc, but I wouldn't run my main web site on a 6100 (anymore).
