Unusual directory listing
Hi again,
The other day, I added a realm to our WebTen 3.0.3 server. I ftp'd
a PC read me text file which was the only file within this directory & went
across to the Mac to retrieve it via Netscape. When I called up the realm,
it asked me for the password as expected. When authorisation was granted,
the directory came up with the directory name across the top & below that,
the words 'Parent Directory' which was a link back to the root directory &
below that, the text file was printed in it's entirety, instead of just
displaying the name of the file as a link to view.
I viewed the directory on the Mac via ftp & it simply displayed the
read me file as the only file in the directory. I deleted it, uploaded an
html file I had laying around & looked at the realm from Netscape again,
which showed the new file as a link, as I'd expected. So, from the Mac, I
re-uploaded the same Read Me file as a text file, viewed the realm from
Netscape again & it still displayed the whole file as a link. Does anyone
have any ideas as to why the file would display instead of being a link? If
so, what might the solution be?
Bye for now, Terry Allen
