The system they are designing will need an Apache plug-in (I'm assuming
it's a module) called Xalan. Does anyone know if this module will run under
WebTen. If so, how do I install it? Do I just drop it into the modules
folder within WebTen & restart? Many thanks for your help.
Not quite. Apache modules have to be compiled on the same OS as the
webserver, so you'd need to recompile WT's apache component in MachTen with
the module in question.

Hi Robert,
Thanks for the info. I haven't looked in the WebTen docs, but is
there any info on doing this? Would this mean that recompiling the Apache
component with the 2.0 beta as well, that WebTen would be running as Apache
2.0?
Just for clarification, in general, Robert is correct, new Apache
modules would have to be recompiled for WebTen (and the development
environment for WebTen is MachTen). However, for Apache itself,
updates have to come from Tenon.
That said, Xalan is in a different category. It is written in Java
and converts XML to HTML.

We are looking into making this run with WebTen and iTools. It
should not be a problem, but we'll know more soon.
