When attempting to export SSL files, I get the error "Error - key
file for [domain name] not found!"
Some time ago, tech support at Tenon changed my SSL files to be
named for the secure domain itself rather than the IP address. (I've
been afflicted with frequent IP address changes.)
When using the sslcerts.cgi, should I be entering:
https://[domain]/webten_support/cgi-bin/sslcerts.cgi?[secure.domain]+export
or should I be using the IP address as in:
https://[domain]/webten_support/cgi-bin/sslcerts.cgi?[IP.address]+export
Don't use the script.
Do it in the shell window.
ls /etc/ssl/private/
That will show you the key file name, you can make a copy of it if you want.
Then in the virtual hosts configuration, you'll need to enter the
name of the key file. It goes in the field: SLCertificateKeyFile
You will see it when you type in the name, be sure you get it exactly
correct, because after you save it, that field will appear blank
again.
